Hello and good day! We’ve been toying away at this project for the past few months, chipping through setting up good foundation our next game features ; Sleeping, Skilling, and Summoning Rituals!

Summoning Rituals Summoning Ritual gameplay is what ties the Farming and Gathering gameplay together. It’s why we farm and harvest at the first place ; to unlock more spiritual creatures! Currently, none of the gameplay has yet to be implemented, as the gameplay idea also hasn’t been tested and finalized. We have a few ideas, but need to go through the prototyping phase first before anything else. In a nutshell, we’re imagining it to have elements of crafting + gacha-style randomness combined. This means players would need to gather harvests, potentially craft them into ritual materials, input them into the ritual circle slots, start the summoning ritual, play the subsequent ritual minigame, and if successful, they’ll get their new spiritual creatures ready to help around the farm!

Sleep Sequence

Portrayed here is the placeholder UI for when players go to sleep. Our resident artist has been busy for the past few weeks, but she is on it for the task of better visualizing this as we speak. It’ll portray two visuals, Hana-chan preparing to sleep, and Hana-chan sleeping in her pajamas!

Grass Spawning

As we work on the meaty part of the game, it’s also important to step back and instead work on less impactful but more fun features, such as this one! We’re imagining as part of keeping her farm and surrounding environment tidy, Hana-chan will need to mow some overgrown grass and pick out weeds every now and then. This can then be further improved by having her trusty spiritual creatures do the housekeeping for her instead!
